illuminate church was formed in the spring of 2022 when a group of christians began to grow weary of church "the way it had always been done." as they looked at the state of the churches around them they saw places that were more concerned with the model and polity of how to do church then they were with the mission of being the church. instilled with a fervent passion for expanding the reach of the gospel and engaging the community through relationship, the idea of illuminate was formed. through much hard work, dedication, and sacrifice the vision to launch illuminate was realized in the fall of 2022.
